Dear Honorable members,
The general body meeting of ISHA is scheduled on 24.01.2009 during the 41st ISHA convention at Pune. Kindly participate and take active part in the deliberations and strengthen the activities of ISHA.
Agenda:
1. To approve minutes of the last Special GB and GB meeting.
2. To approve Secretary's report for year 2008
3. To approve Treasurer's report for year 2007-08.
4. To admit new life members and new student members of ISHA.
5. To decide about the ministry under which Speech and hearing Council may be affiliated
6. To discuss the scope of Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
7. To discuss the bidding for Asian Pacific Speech and Hearing convention in 2011
8. To confirm the proposal of convention to be held at Bangalore for the year 2010.
9. To sign MOU between the organizing committee of 42nd ISHACON and the parent body of ISHA.
10. To discuss about the bi-annual publication of JISHA separately in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology
11. Appointment of part time secretary at H.O with provision for telephone connection
12 To discuss about a uniform procedure for enrolling the student and life members
13 To discuss about accessing and dissemination the research work among
Professionals
14 To invite proposal for ISHA convention to be held for the year 2011.
15 To approve JISHA report, and accounts.
16 Elections for the various posts of executive council.
17 Any other topic with the permission of the chairperson.
Honorable Members are requested to submit any topic or issues for discussion in the for coming GB meeting. These topics/ issues/ suggestions may kindly be submitted to the secretary- ISHA by 15/1/2009.
Please Note: The suggestions submitted after 15/1/2009 may not be considered for the discussion in the GB meeting.
